Tax Deduction

Like donations to presidential elections and a variety of advocacy efforts (social, environmental, scientific, etc.), donations to the NVRI are not tax deductible. Part of the NVRI's mission is to inform and advocate to federal legislators and agencies, thus, under federal law, contributors can not take a charitable deduction for their donation.

Larger Donations/Pledges

There are three ways to make larger pledges and donations:

• The third is to us and let us know how much you would like to pledge or donate and we will make safe, secure arrangements for your donation or pledge.

Donations go to the "NVRI Action Fund," administered by SpiritRidge Institute. The funds are used to help pay the cost of the National Violence Reduction Initiative. This includes research, public education, creation of web-based resources, and other activities designed to reduce and eliminate violence.

SpiritRidge Institute is the administrator of and fiscal agent for the National Violence Reduction Initiative.
